How It All Began
"There simply aren't any beautiful cards to buy!" — sendmoments founder Michael Nadler
That sentence is where the sendmoments story starts, back in 2010. Michael Nadler is celebrating a new arrival in the family and is handed a home-made birth announcement. "Why can't you actually buy beautiful cards for the important moments in life?" He turns the question over the following day at dinner with his colleague and friend Andreas Schulz. They talk about the gap in the market, and before the evening is out the idea of an online shop for baby cards is born.
A short time later the two of them found Schulz & Nadler GmbH in Munich. Demand grows steadily, and the range is soon extended with stylish wedding and birthday cards. Expansion follows just as quickly, so that customers in Germany, Austria and Switzerland can all use our service. In 2012 the company finally takes the name it still has today — sendmoments GmbH — and grows into one of the leading specialists in personalisable stationery.

Step by step we are establishing more sustainable processes across the company, such as printing on FSC-certified paper, environmentally friendly packaging, and GoGreen — DHL's climate-neutral delivery.
