"Personalisation" means designing your product so that it is individual and personal to you. Once you have chosen a design, you can adapt the template to your own wishes and ideas. Both the sample texts and the sample images can be replaced with your own. If you'd like to be even more creative, you can make bigger changes and add extra photo and text fields. Changing the font, font colour and font size is possible too. Personalisation is what gives a wall print, a card or a photo book its own completely unique touch.
Yes, you can have up to 3 free sample cards sent to you, so you can judge the premium feel and look of our products for yourself. Simply design the card you'd like with your own photo and text, then select "Sample card" as the quantity. We'll send it out to you straight away. Please note: sample cards are marked as samples with a printed notice. You'll find more information on our sample cards page.
With the exception of our real-photo books, we produce our products using the digital printing process. This does place certain technical limits on the printing of photos. Because of the halftone printing process, digital printing is a little less precise in its colour reproduction than photographic development in a lab. The print raster is also visible on closer inspection. These are standard production characteristics of the digital printing process.
As standard, we print our cards on smooth, white fine paper, which is ideal for photo printing. On request, we can also give your cards a high-gloss coating on the outside. As an alternative, and for an additional charge, we offer a textured, matt premium paper (textured laid paper), kraft paper, a fine paper with a pearlescent shimmer (Sirio Pearl Ice) and a high-quality recycled paper with a natural texture.
Our range includes a matching envelope size for every card format. As a rule, you can choose between white and cream, as well as a white designer envelope with a motif to match your card. Envelopes in nutmeg, Gobi brown, Flora off-white and Ceylon blue-grey are available for the 145x145 mm, 148x105 mm and 210x100 mm card formats. Important: colour variations are possible. If you're not quite sure which colour to choose, it's best to go for a neutral shade such as white.
Our photo books are produced using different printing processes. With digital printing, the photos are analysed electronically by colour and printed directly onto the paper. The halftone printing process makes the photos look very high quality, though a little grainier. The real-photo book wins you over with razor-sharp images and brilliant colour: here the photographic paper isn't printed on but exposed. There is a further difference in the type of paper. Digital printing doesn't use genuine photographic paper but a special photo book paper. The colours of the photos are reproduced at full strength, but they can differ slightly from the original colours. In a real-photo book, the photos are developed on genuine photographic paper, which achieves noticeably better colour reproduction. Digital printing, in turn, reproduces text more precisely than the real-photo book. The binding of the photo books differs as well. With the digital printing process we work with a classic perfect binding, which creates a fold in the middle of the book, whereas a real-photo book uses lay-flat binding. That is ideal for placing photos across two pages, because the middle of the book gives you a seamless transition. The advantages of digital printing lie in the lower price and the precise reproduction of text. The real-photo album wins on brilliant colour reproduction and depth of detail. The pages of a real-photo book are also thicker and more robust, which means that with the same number of pages a real-photo book is thicker than a digital photo book.
1. Digital guest lists For your invitation cards you can activate a digital guest list, which keeps your celebration beautifully organised and lets you plan it in a relaxed way. You give the guest list a name of your own, the date of the event and the deadline for replies. That way your guests have all the important information they need to accept or decline in good time, and you can see the number of guests at a glance whenever you like. 2. Digital photo albums To capture all those one-off photo impressions from your celebration, we offer the digital photo album in several versions. You can add a digital photo album to your thank you cards by QR code, to send your guests a colourful variety of impressions as a keepsake after the celebration. You can also have your menu cards printed with a QR code. Your guests can then scan the code at any time, upload their photos to the digital photo album while the celebration is still going on, and leave you their own colourful snapshots of the day. 3. Digital invitations With our digital invitations you can invite friends and family to your celebration quickly and in an environmentally friendly way. Once you've placed your order for your digital cards, we'll send you a link to download them in JPG, MP4 and PDF format. You can then send your invitations to all your guests by WhatsApp or email. It's a lovely way to invite people to an event in style, even at short notice. They're already available for the following occasions:

Design your photo book in our online configurator so that it suits you and the occasion perfectly. Let your creativity run free, play with different photo and text arrangements as well as with the background colours, and tell a story that is all your own. I. How to create your photo book on your desktop (laptop / PC) 1. Choose your cover design and format First choose a cover design and format that you like. Then set the type of photo book and cover (hardcover or softcover, real-photo book, digital photo book, natural photo book, digital print with lay-flat binding or mini photo book) and whether the cover should be finished with gloss foil (not available for every design and book type). As soon as you're happy with your settings, click "Design now" and the photo book configurator will open. 2. Create your photo book automatically or design it yourself Now choose whether you'd like our software to create your photo book automatically or whether you'd rather design every page yourself. If you decide to have the book filled with your photos automatically, simply follow the instructions. Once the software has arranged your images, you can always make adjustments, swap images, personalise the cover texts and add captions to your photos on the inside pages too. 3. Upload your photos Next, upload your photos to the image gallery via the side menu > "Images" > "+ Add photos". Our tip: you can also load images from Google Photos into the configurator. 4. Personalise the cover With your photo book you have the option of personalising the front of the cover, the back and, where applicable, the spine with your own texts and photos. To do so, simply open the preset image fields with a double click, or drag the images from the gallery on the left into the image fields with your mouse. You can adjust the text fields as well, by opening each one with a double click. Use the "New text" and "New image" areas to add extra placeholders if you want them. The arrows at the bottom of the editing view let you navigate between the cover and the inside pages. 5. Choose your layout If you'd rather not have our software create your photo book automatically, you can design every page exactly as you like. You decide freely how many images should be shown on each double page. To do that, go to "Layout" in the side menu and pick a suitable layout from our suggestions, based on the number of images you want. You'll also find the "Background" option here, to change the background colour of the page. 6. Make adjustments Our interface makes it wonderfully easy to add texts and photos, swap images or change the page layout - if, for example, you'd rather place three photos on a photo book page instead of two. While you're designing you can also add pages, remove them and change the order of the inside pages. To do that, go to "Overview" in the side menu, switch on "Page management" and make your changes. 7. Edit your images and texts For your photos, the "Image editing" menu item lets you change the colour and brightness as well as the crop (zoom) however you like. You'll also find the option here to check the resolution of the photo you've chosen and whether it's suitable for print. Under "Text editing" you can adjust the size, colour and font of your texts and captions. 8. Save and order We'd recommend signing in to your customer account before you start designing, or creating one via "Register". "Save" lets you keep works in progress and carry on with them later. Once you've finished designing your photo book, you can start the order process with the "Buy" button. II. How to create your photo book on a smartphone or tablet Of course, you can also design your photo book very easily on your smartphone. The steps are similar to designing on a PC or laptop. 1. Choose your cover design and format First choose a cover design and format for your photo book that you like. Then decide which type of cover you'd like (hardcover or softcover, real-photo book, digital photo book, natural photo book, digital print with lay-flat binding or mini photo book) and whether the cover should be finished (not available for every design and book type). As soon as you're happy with your choice, tap "Design now" and the photo book configurator will open. 2. Create your photo book automatically or design it yourself Now choose whether you'd like our software to create your photo book automatically or whether you'd rather design every page yourself. If you decide to have your photos arranged in the book automatically, simply follow the instructions. Once the software has filled the image fields, you can make adjustments, swap images, personalise the cover texts and add captions to your photos on the inside pages too. 3. Upload your photos Next, tap the first image window and then "Gallery" in the menu bar at the bottom to open the image gallery. This is where you upload your photos. Tip: you can also upload images from your Google Photos account into the configurator. 4. Personalise the cover You can personalise your photo book cover on the front, on the back and, where applicable, on the spine. To do so, simply tap each of the preset text and image fields and then tap "Edit". Use the relevant icons at the bottom of the editing view to add extra placeholders. The arrows below the view of the current page let you navigate between the cover and the inside pages. 5. Choose your layout Think about how many images you'd like to appear on each double page, then pick the matching layout templates with the number of images you want from our configurator. The layouts can be opened from the menu at the bottom. You'll also find the option here to choose the background colour of the page. If you'd like to add pages to your photo book, remove pages or change the order of the inside pages, simply switch on "Page management" under "Overview" and make your adjustments. 6. Edit your images and texts You can go back and edit the images in the configurator at any time. Tap the photo you want and then tap "Edit". The image field you've chosen opens and you can change the crop however you like. Adjustments to brightness and colour can be made under "More". This is also where you can check the resolution of the photo you've chosen and see whether it's suitable for print ("Info"). The menu bar below the page view also lets you edit your texts and change the size, colour and font. 7. Save and order It's best to sign in to your customer account before you start designing. That way you can save your progress at any time using the save icon and carry on designing your photo book later. As soon as you've finished editing, you can start the order process with the "Buy" button. Look forward to a photo book you've created yourself.

I. How to create your wall print on your desktop (laptop / PC) 1. Choose your design, format and material First look for a wall print design that you'd like to work with. Then choose the format and decide which material it should be printed on (poster, canvas, direct print on Alu-Dibond or acrylic glass Fineart). For extra impact, some poster formats can also be finished with gloss foil. Depending on the type of wall print you've chosen, you'll also have various frame options available, with or without a mount. Once you've made your choice, click "Design now". You'll be taken straight to the wall print configurator. 2. Upload your photos and personalise your wall print You can upload your photos quickly and easily to your image gallery via the side menu > "Images" > "+ Add photos". To do so, simply open the existing text fields with a double click and word the content however you like. 3. Edit your images and texts individually You can get really creative when designing your wall print, editing both the crop of your photos and the brightness. Under "Filter" you have the option of changing the colouring easily, to sepia for example. There's also a wide range of font colours, fonts and font sizes available for your texts. If you'd like to extend our design template with extra photos or captions, you can add them using the "New text" / "New image" areas. Equally, the bin icon lets you remove any fields you don't need for your design. 4. Save and order The "Save" button lets you keep your design on your favourites list as often as you like and come back to your draft later. Our recommendation: save the product in your customer account, so that you can also work on it from other devices. You can do that very easily via "Sign in" or "Register". Once you've finished configuring and you'd like to order your wall print, simply click "Buy". That takes you straight to the basket, where you can start the purchase process. II. You can choose between poster, canvas, direct print on Alu-Dibond and acrylic glass Fineart. For extra impact, some poster formats can also be finished with gloss foil. They can be edited again at any time: tap "Edit" and you can change the crop of the photo you want. Under the "More" menu item you can adjust the brightness and the colouring ("Effects") of the photo, and check the image's resolution and suitability for print. Adjust your text fields If you've chosen a wall print design with text, you edit it by tapping "Edit" in the menu bar. For our products we offer raised varnish as well as gold, silver and rose gold foiling as types of finish. Please note that not every finish can be selected for every product. This may be for production or design reasons. Whether a finish is possible, and in what form, is shown to you in the design editor. To make searching easier, on a category page such as wedding invitations you can filter all the products by the different types of finish. You'll then only be shown the cards for which the option you've chosen is available.
If the preset text or image fields aren't enough for you, you can add more in the design editor using the "New text" / "New image" design areas.
Yes, that's possible. To do so, first design the initial version of your card and save it to your favourites list. To create another version, copy the first one, and the copy is stored on your favourites list as well. You can then open your two cards one after the other and edit each of them differently.
So that you can come back to drafts and works in progress of your cards and other products whenever you like, we generally recommend creating a customer account with us. You can then save your drafts as you edit them, simply by clicking "Save" or the save icon. You'll be able to open and edit them again at any time under the "Favourites list" menu item. To help you keep track of your drafts, we'd suggest giving each one a different name. To do that, click "Already personalised" next to the design name of your product in your favourites list. A window then opens where you can give it a name of your own.
For the best possible print result, we recommend using images with a file size of 1-3 MB and a resolution of at least 300 dpi. For a print that is good enough, a minimum resolution of 72 dpi at a size of 500 KB needs to be kept to.
As standard, we print our URL www.sendmoments.co.uk on all products as a copyright notice. If you'd rather not have it, you can select the "Remove branding" option in the basket and have the URL removed for an additional charge.
Books, calendars, wall prints and wooden products can be ordered individually at sendmoments. For card products, the minimum order quantity is 5.
Yes, you'll get a quantity discount from us on selected products such as cards, hang tags, newspapers, stickers and similar stationery. The tiered prices are shown on every product detail page, next to the quantities available to choose from. Where a price per item is shown, as it is for books, calendars or wooden products, no tiered pricing is offered.
Our cards and most of our other stationery products are delivered flat and not assembled. That helps above all to avoid damage. Once your order arrives, you can assemble the product you've bought by hand. For more complex products we include instructions.
You can find the postage costs for your card format on the Royal Mail website (or that of the postal service in your own country).
No, unfortunately that isn't possible, for production reasons. You'll see the estimated delivery time for your order at checkout, before you place it.
